Natural gas
Natural gas is the original fuel extracted from underground or undersea gas deposits. It consists
mainly of methane and incombustible compounds. Each deposit contains gas of different composition. The amount and type of incombustible compounds included in natural gas determine the quality and the necessity of applying the purifying processes. The great advantage of natural gas is the purity of combustion, during which there are not produced dusts or solid wastes. High energy efficiency of natural gas as well as low transport costs and wide availability place natural gas in the lead among fuels for industry.
